Terms of Use

A travel guide for Tromsø. It gathers prices, opening hours, transport times, local rules and tour operators in one place, so a visitor can tell a fair price from a bad one.

It is owned and operated by Flow Cart Mansour and published by Webora Tech.

This is the most important thing on the page. Every price in the app is an indication of what things typically cost in Tromsø. It is not an offer, not a quote, and not binding on anyone.

Prices are gathered from public sources, from the chains' and operators' own pages, and checked against Statistics Norway's consumer price index. They still go out of date, vary by season, by day of the week and by time of night, and a business is free to charge what it likes.

Always check the actual price with the business before you buy. If what you are told differs from the app, the business is right and the app is out of date — and we would like to hear about it.

Bus departures come from Entur, flight status from Avinor, weather and cloud cover from Yr. We pass on what they publish. If one of those services is wrong or unavailable, so are we.

Aurora forecasts are probabilities, not promises. Nobody can tell you the northern lights will appear.

Links to tour operators, taxi companies, ride-hailing apps and booking pages lead to businesses we have no part in. We take no commission and we are not a party to any booking or purchase you make with them. Their terms apply, not ours.

Being listed in the app is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality.

The in-app assistant answers questions about Tromsø using the same data as the rest of the app, with the help of Google's Gemini service. It can be wrong, and it will decline anything unrelated to travel in Tromsø.

Do not use it for emergencies, medical, legal or financial advice. In an emergency in Norway, call 112 for police, 110 for fire or 113 for an ambulance.

Use the app as a traveller would. Do not attempt to scrape it, overload it, break into it or resell its content. Requests to the assistant are limited per user so the service stays available to everyone.

The app is provided as it is. We keep it running and correct as well as we reasonably can, but we cannot promise it will always be available, always current or free of errors.

FairTrip is free, and our responsibility is limited accordingly. We are not liable for money spent, journeys missed, bookings made or decisions taken on the basis of information in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian law.

The app, its text and its design belong to the owner. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Transport data comes from Entur and Avinor under their own terms. Photographs are used under the licences of their sources.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any dispute belongs before the Norwegian courts.
